The 1st Annual Belize Taiwan Academy Conference

【The 1st Annual Belize Taiwan Academy Conference】(BTAC) was successfully held virtually on July 4 and live streamed on various media platforms in Taiwan and Belize, drawing  more than 16,000 viewers.

The conference started with the song “Work Together”, a song written by the singer of Belizean Concego and dedicated to the diplomatic friendship between Taiwan and Belize. 12 Belizean students from universities in Taiwan presented their research findings with various topics.

Belize Ambassador to Taiwan Candice Pitts, Taiwan's Vice Foreign Minister Alexander Yui (俞大㵢), Taiwan Ambassador to Belize Chien Kuan-chou (錢冠州), and Deputy Secretary General of the International Cooperation and Development Fund Lee Pai-Po (李栢浡) who participated in the event all addressed that BTAC is a testament to academic excellence and educational cooperation between both countries.
