Taiwan Tea, Wine and Coffee Expo 2015 will be held in Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall on November 13th through November 16th. The Central America Trade Office invited five coffee producers in Central America, i.e. El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama, to organize Central American Coffee Exhibition. Delegates from coffee associations, coffee producers and exporters from Central American countries will also participate in this trade show. Premier coffee beans will be available onsite for tasting. The purpose of this exhibition is to combine the processing techniques and marketing expertise of Taiwan with the high-quality coffees from Central America to sell these coffees to the international market.

Central America is one of the four major coffee-growing regions in the world. The variances in microclimate and the difference in processing methods in this region have contributed to the colorfulness of the coffee flavors from Central America: coffee from Guatemala is known for its beautiful fruity acidity, coffee from Honduras has a balanced taste, coffee from El Salvador comes with a chocolate touch, coffee from Nicaragua sends off an elegant fruity fragrance and Geisha Coffee from Panama is distinguished for a sophisticated body of fruity aroma. The variety of coffee flavors from Central America has attracted many coffee lovers in the world. 

Taiwan’s imports of high-quality coffees from Central America have been rapidly increasing over past years. The demand for premier coffee beans has been rising significantly. The Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE) works with coffee-growing countries in Central America each year to host Cup of Excellence competition. The award-winning coffees are sold via online auctions. All these events have contributed to the publicity of Central American coffees in the international market. To bring different choices to Taiwanese importers and distributors, the coffee producers from Central America are presenting the best of their coffee beans this year. There will also be a variety of promotional offerings and coffee tastings will be available onsite. All the interested buyers in Taiwan are welcome to visit our booth.
