Taiwan International Tea, Coffee & Wine Expo 2018 ~ Central America Pavilion

2018-10-31

“Taiwan International Tea, Coffee & Wine Expo 2018” will be held in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center from November 16th to 19th, 2018. The Central America Trade Office has organized the Central America Pavilion with coffee producing countries like Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.

In recent years, with more than 1,500 home-baked coffee makers, Taiwan has become the world’s most densely populated region for “home-baked coffee shops.” The rapid increase in consumption has also created a domestic coffee business opportunity of up to NT$70 billion a year, equivalent to 2.85 billion cups of coffee per year. Of which, the first-grade coffee market is booming and the black coffee market has shown a non-linear growth, resulting in a significant demand in specialty coffee beans. To allow Taiwan’s import agents to taste and appreciate different varieties, well-known domestic coffee estate operators and representatives of official coffee associations from Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua are invited to showcase several types of fresh first-grade coffee beans and various specialty coffee promotional deals to be appreciated and negotiated at the expo. In addition to introducing coffee production regions, microclimate, special cultivation methods of Central American coffee, several coffee tasting events will also be held, from specialty beans to commercial beans and well-known estate beans so that you can have a deep understanding of high-quality Central American coffee.

Date: November 16th to 19th, 2018
