Taste of El Salvador-Taiwan 2017

The embassy of the Republic of El Salvador will invite Juan Salomón Miguel, the host of La Receta del Chef, a well-known culinary program in El Salvador, to Taiwan to offer nine special El Salvador meals at lunch and dinner buffet in the Silk Road Feast restaurant located at B1 of the Westin Taipei. Juan Salomón Miguel specializes in designing and making simple and practical daily El Salvador meals with affordable ingredients from supermarkets. He will also demonstrate cooking and host culinary shows in the Taste of El Salvador. 

Several El Salvador products will also be introduced at the product launch in the opening day of the festival. It will be a good opportunity for the public and food industry to further understand the authentic food and cultural characteristics of El Salvador. The organizer hopes this event will attract people to travel to El Salvador, taste local food and experience local culture. The organizer will also promote excellent products from El Salvador and expand the trade opportunities between Taiwan and El Salvador.
